What the AI-GRS designation is

Appraisal review is its own discipline. A reviewer has to judge whether another appraiser's data, methods and conclusions are credible, and explain why in a way a lender, court or client can rely on. The AI-GRS designation recognizes appraisers with the education and experience to do that across commercial, industrial, residential and land property.

Michael Baldi is an AI-GRS review appraiser in Connecticut. He also holds the MAI designation, and relatively few appraisers hold both.
